Men's and Women's Tennis At Home This Weekend

SPOKANE, Wash. - The Gonzaga University men's and women's tennis teams will be in action at Martin Courts all weekend as the Bulldogs host a full schedule of weekend matches. The women's team will play three matches on Friday, Saturday and Sunday as the Bulldogs host their Alumni weekend. The GU men will be in action on Saturday morning.

The women's team opens play on Friday afternoon against Weber State University at 2 p.m. Gonzaga returns to Martin Courts on Saturday morning with a 10 a.m. match against Northern Arizona. Weekend action concludes on Sunday afternoon with a 2 p.m. match against Lewis-Clark State College. This will be Gonzaga's first outdoor home matches of the season with GU previously hosting nationally ranked Colorado and Santa Clara in indoor matches.

The men's team will host Northern Arizona at 10 a.m. on Saturday morning as the men and women share the courts on the Gonzaga campus. This will be the Bulldogs first home outdoor match of the season. The Zags previously knocked off Idaho at home during an indoor contest.

Should rain hit the Spokane area over the weekend, Friday's women's match will be moved to the Spokane Racquet Club with a 6 p.m. start. Saturday's matches will also be moved to the Spokane Racquet Club with 4:30 p.m. starts for both teams. There are no plans to reschedule Sunday's match should it be rained out.

Also in action at Martin Courts this weekend will be the Idaho women against Northern Arizona at 9 a.m. on Friday. L-C State will also face Weber State on Sunday morning at 10 a.m. on Martin Court.
