USF Men's Tennis Wins First Round Match Against Lewis And Clark St.

The USF men's tennis team beat Lewis and Clark St Friday morning 7-0 in the first round of the Boise State Red Lion Spring Break Tournament being played in Boise, Idaho.

The Dons, who improved their overall season record to 8-8 with the win, were led by senior Matthew Berry. Berry teamed with sophomore Thong Tu in the #1 doubles competition to beat Cedric Dufour and Andy Hunt of Lewis and Clark St. 8-1. Berry also won at the #1 singles competition over Dufour 6-0 6-0 to help pace the Dons.

Next up for the team in the Boise State Tournament is Ball State, who beat Montana 4-3 to improve their season record to 6-8.
