SAN BRUNO, Calif. --- The West Coast Conference men's tennis teams are just three weeks away from the WCC Tennis Championships, Presented by the Andre Agassi Foundation for Education. Pepperdine and San Diego are the only teams still undefeated in conference play.

QUICK HITS

  • There are only three weeks left before the conference championships, and the teams' winning percentages in conference play will help to determine seeds at this year's tournament. Pepperdine and San Diego are the only two teams still undefeated in conference play.

  • Pepperdine's Sebastian Fanselow went 6-0 against six ranked teams during the month of March to earn WCC Singles Player of the Month honors, while Santa Clara's No. 1 doubles pair of Ilya Osintsev and John Lamble garnered WCC Doubles Team of the Month after putting together a 7-1 outing (3-0 in WCC play).

  • BYU is 8-of-10 over its last 10 matches. Its two losses came in two close 4-3 conference matches against Santa Clara and San Diego.

  • Pepperdine currently rides an 11-match winning streak. The Waves did not lose a single match during the month of March and closed out the month with convincing wins over Bay Area conference rivals Santa Clara and San Francisco.

  • San Diego defeated BYU in a close 4-3 heartbreaker. The Cougars secured the doubles point, but the Toreros came back to win four singles matches at the No. 1, 2, 4 and 5 spots.

  • Saint Mary's is still in search for its first conference win. The Gaels will host Oregon before facing WCC foe Pepperdine.
