SAN BRUNO, Calif. --- The West Coast Conference men's tennis teams are just one week away from the WCC Tennis Championships, Presented by the Andre Agassi Foundation for Education. The tournament is scheduled to take place on April 25-28 at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego, CA.

QUICK HITS

  • Only one week remains before the West Coast Conference Championships, presented by the Andre Agassi Foundation for Education. Each team's winning percentage in conference play will help to determine seeds at this year's tournament. Pepperdine is the only team still undefeated in WCC contests.

  • As a team, the Waves have won 16 duals in a row. Individually, junior Sebastian Fanselow has won the last 12 consecutive singles matches, followed by senior Alex Llompart, who is on a 10-match win streak.

  • Santa Clara took sole possession of second place in the conference after upsetting San Diego by a score of 4-3. With the win, the Broncos moved up to No. 30 in the ITA rankings, just one spot shy of the school's all-time highest ranking. The Broncos and Toreros are now 5-1 and 5-2, respectively, in conference play.

  • San Diego swept LMU, 7-0, to close out the conference season in third place. The Toreros earned victories in two of three doubles matches to capture the doubles point before going on to sweep singles.

  • After tallying 6-1 wins over Gonzaga and Portland, BYU took a week break before heading into the final week of the regular season. The Cougars, which are undefeated at home this year, are scheduled to host LMU and No. 7 Pepperdine.
