Thomas Liversage Advances to Main Draw of All-American

Tulsa, Okla.- The University of San Diego's Thomas Liversage, a senior from Johannesburg, South Africa, has advanced his way into the main draw for singles at the 2007 Polo Ralph Lauren All-American Tennis Championship at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on the campus of Tulsa University. Liversage, with a preseason ranking of 60th in the nation, won all three of his qualifying matches to set up tomorrow's main draw match against Alabama's Billy Mertz. In today's third round match, Liversage beat USC's Jaak Poldma, 6-7 (4), 7-5, 6-3. In first round action he beat Matt Allare of Ohio State by scores of 4-6, 7-6 (2), 7-6 (5), and then earned a straight set victory over Wisconsin's Nolan Polley, 6-4, 6-4.
