Moraga, CA - The 2nd Annual Saint Mary's College Tee-Off For Tennis Tournament, held at the Crow Canyon Country Club in San Ramon, CA. was a huge success as the event raised more than $30,000 for the men's and women's tennis programs.
Lynn Rolley, of the Berkeley Tennis Club, served as the keynote speaker for the event. Lynn was the first female head tennis coach in Saint Mary's history. Her extensive resume includes Junior National Championships and top ten National rankings in singles and doubles. Until recently, she was the Director of Women's Tennis for the United States Tennis Association and has worked with Jennifer Capriati, Lindsay Davenport, Lisa Raymond, Chanda Rubin, Alexandra Stevenson, and Ashley Harkelroad.
On the course, the winning foursome included Dave Brown, Jeff Rulifson, Joe Paclebar and Carl Campos. Dean Pournaras won the long drive competition for the men and SMC Women's Tennis Head Coach Lisa Alipaz took home the award for the women.
