The fourth-ranked Pepperdine men's volleyball team continues its current five-match road swing this week with two more pivotal Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) matches. First up for the Waves is No. 6 Cal State Northridge Wednesday night at The Matadome.

Pepperdine (5-1, 4-1 MPSF) is currently 2-0 on its road swing with victories over UCLA, 3-2, and UC Irvine, 3-0, last week. The Waves moved up one spot in the rankings by virtue of its wins and senior Tom Hulse picked up the second MPSF Player of the Week honor of his career.

Saturday's match against No. 3 UC Santa Barbara shapes up to be a showcase of two of the nation's best players as the Gaucho's Evan Patak and Pepperdine's Paul Carroll rank No. 1 and No. 2 in the conference in points, kills and aces per game.

Both matches are slated for 7 p.m. PT first serves.
