No. 1 Pepperdine Ends Five-Match Homestand Wednesday

The top-ranked Pepperdine men's volleyball team will close out its current five-match homestand Wednesday night when it takes on Johnson & Wales at 7 p.m. PT at Firestone Fieldhouse.

Pepperdine is 13-1 on the season and has won 10 straight matches, including four straight at home.

The Waves are led by Paul Carroll's 5.98 kills and 0.68 service aces per game this season. Tom Hulse leads the conference in blocks per game at 1.98, while Jonathan Winder is second on the team with 1.30.

Pepperdine will return to Mountain Pacific Sports Federation play next week when it travels to Honolulu, Hawaii for a pair of matches against Hawaii. The Waves are 11-1 in conference play and lead UC Irvine by two games with 10 remaining.
