The Pepperdine Waves are one victory away from clinching home-court advantage and a first round bye for the upcoming Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) tournament as the team takes to the road to play Stanford and Pacific.

Pepperdine is 21-1 on the season and 17-1 in conference play with just four matches remaining. The Waves are also looking to add a bit of history to their current 18-match win streak as no team in the history of the MPSF has recorded 21 conference wins in a single season.

The current win streak is the single-season school record, bettering the 17 straight of 2002. The school record for consecutive wins is 23 done during the 1985-86 seasons.

Thursday's match against the Cardinal is slated for a 7 p.m. PDT first serve at Maples Pavilion. Saturday's match against the Tigers will be played at Alex G. Spanos Center and is also scheduled for a 7 p.m. start.
