MALIBU, Calif. - Tickets for Saturday's men's volleyball match against Cal State Northridge in the first round of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) tournament went on sale today (Mon., April 17) at 9 a.m. The 7 p.m. (PDT) match will mark the third consecutive season in which the Waves and Matadors have met in the postseason.
Ticket prices are $10 (adults) and $5 (children/students). All tickets sold will be general admission. Tickets may purchased today through Friday by calling the Pepperdine ticket office at 866-WAVE TIX (928-3849) between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. or in person at Firestone Fieldhouse. Walk-up tickets will be sold the day of the match beginning at 6 p.m.
Pepperdine is currently ranked fourth nationally with a 16-7 record. The Waves are 10-2 at home this season after posting consecutive sweeps over UC Santa Barbara and Southern Cal in their final two matches of the regular season.
Northridge enters the tournament with a national ranking of sixth and an 18-10 record.
The two teams split the season series (1-1) in 2006 with each team winning on its home court.
