August 30-The West Coast Conference volleyball season got underway earlier today with San Diego sweeping Virginia in straight sets 30-0, 30-1, and 30- to claim the first WCC victory. All eight WCC schools will be in action today with Loyola Marymount, Pepperdine, Portland, and Saint Mary's hosting tournaments that take place today and tomorrow.
