Senior Melissa Snow totaled a match-high 15 digs, while senior middle blocker Kate Taylor-Correa registered five kills and a team-leading .571 hitting percentage. Junior middle blocker Stacy Rouwenhorst had five kills and .556 hitting percentage.
Pepperdine posted a .252 hitting percentage, while Northern Arizona hit .141 for the match.
The second day of the Howdy's Pepperdine Classic on Saturday begins with the host Waves entertaining Fresno State at 10 a.m. followed by Northern Arizona and Florida State playing at noon.
Pepperdine and Florida State open the day's final session with a 5 p.m. followed by Northern Arizona and Fresno State at 7 p.m.
