The 24th-ranked Loyola Marymount University women's volleyball team suffered an 0-3 loss to the University of Colorado, 30-20, 30-22, 30-28 in the second day of the Colorado PowerBar Invitational Saturday at the Coors Events/Conference Center. Sophomore Kristen Gallup was the only Lion to hit the double-digit kills mark. Gallup pounded out a match-high 16 kills while also adding in nine digs.

Junior team captain Laura Gustorf led the Lions defensively collecting 12 digs on the night. Freshman Dina DeBernardi was impressive with her attack as she hit .368 during the match (8 kills, 1 error, 19 attacks).

LMU, who drops to 1-1 on the season, returns to action Sunday for the final day of the PowerBar Invitational. The Lions will match up against Clemson at 12 p.m. MT.
