Sept 6-The No. 4 University of Hawai`i Rainbow Wahine (4-0) defeated the San Francisco Dons (2-3) 30-15, 30-20 and 30-16 in front of a crowd of 6,413 in the Aston Imua Challenge at the Stan Sheriff Center Thursday. The crowd is the largest to ever see San Francisco play a volleyball match.

Junior outside hitter Brittanie Budinger led the way for San Francisco with 10 kills and eight digs on the night and led USF in kills for the fifth consecutive contest. Junior libero Caroline Skacel led all performers with a match-high 12 digs for the Dons.

Kim Willoughby led the way for Hawai`i with 20 kills, 11 digs and four blocks while hitting .457. Lily Kahumoku added a 14 kill, 10 dig, .375 performance while Lauren Duggins had another solid night with eight kills, five digs, three blocks and a .462 hitting percentage while playing just two games.
