Senior All-American outside hitter Kristee Porter turned in a dominating performance as totaled 20 kills and posted a .741 hitting percentage to lead No. 7 UCLA to a three-game victory over No. 15 Pepperdine in the second round of the US Bank / Arby's Invitational Saturday afternoon at Nebraska Coliseum in Lincoln.

UCLA defeated Pepperdine by scores of 30-13, 30-21, 30-24.

The loss was the second straight for the Waves (3-2) after opening the season with three straight victories. The Bruins remained undefeated on the young season, improving to 5-0.

Sophomore middle blocker Lyndsey Hache' led the Pepperdine attack as she totaled 11 kills, while sophomore outside hitter Katie Wilkins added 10 kills and seven digs for the Waves.

For the second straight match, Pepperdine struggled offensively as it hit just .165. UCLA, meanwhile recorded a .398 hitting percentage and had nine blocks.

Pepperdine concludes play in the US Bank / Arby's Invitational on Sunday when it battles No. 20 Notre Dame at Nebraska Coliseum beginning at 11 a.m.
