The 11th-ranked Colorado State volleyball team survived a scare against the University of San Diego this afternoon, winning in four-games 30-22, 30-20, 34-36, 30-20. The Rams improve to 8-0 on the season, while the Toreros fall to 7-3.

Ram senior middle blocker Angela Knopf led all players with a career high 27 kills and hit .489 for the match, while adding eight digs and nine blocks.

San Diego was led by Noel Frohman with 16 kills, Andrea DeMark with 13 digs and Debra Robertson and Lindsey Lampert with three blocks each.

The Rams out-blocked the Toreros 18.5-7.0 and had six service aces compared to zero for San Diego. Colorado State also out-hit the Toreros ..277-.177 for the match.
