Katie Wilkins dished out 119 kills in the first month of competition, averaging a league-high 4.96 kills per game, which is near the top ten in the nation.

The 6-4 Wilkins compiled a .286 hitting percentage in September, placing her fourth in the WCC. In the 24 games she played this season, the sophomore outside hitter averaged 2.83 digs per game (68 total) and put up 12 blocks.

The Waves played five nationally ranked opponents in two weeks and went 3-2, with their biggest win against #20 Notre Dame. In those matches, Wilkins totaled 53 kills, 34 digs and six blocks.

Wilkins helped the Waves to a 6-2 overall record (2-0 in WCC play) with double-digit kills in all eight matches. She posted a career-high 21 kills at Portland on September 29.
