Sophomore outside hitter Katie Wilkins equaled a career-high with 21 kills to lead a group of four players with double-digit kill totals as Pepperdine recorded a four-game victory over local rival Loyola Marymount in a West Coast Conference (WCC) match Saturday evening at Firestone Fieldhouse in Malibu.

The Waves won by scores of 30-22, 28-30, 30-23, 30-26.

The win, which was Pepperdine's fifth in a row, improved the Waves to 8-2 overall and 3-0 in WCC play, while Loyola Marymount dropped to 8-5 and 2-1 in conference action.

Senior outside hitter Melissa Snow registered a double-double, recording 12 kills and 11 digs, while junior middle blocker Stacy Rouwenhorst and sophomore middle blocker Lyndsey Hache' totaled 15 and 12 kills, respectively.

Junior outside hitter Kristin Gallup led Loyola Marymount with a match-high 25 kills. Sophomore middle blocker Kealani Kimball and freshman middle blocker Dina Debernardi registered double-digit kill totals with 18 and 10, respectively.

Pepperdine recorded a .335 hitting percentage, while Loyola Marymount hit .210 for the match.
