The San Diego women??s volleyball team won their fifth match in a row and have now won nine of ten, beating Cal State Northridge 30-22, 30-22, 30-22 Tuesday night in the Jenny Craig Pavilion.

The Torero trio of junior outside hitter Noel Frohman, senior middle blocker Lindsey Lampert and senior setter Ali Martin proved to be too much for CSN, who falls to 9-6 overall and remain 3-3 in conference.

San Diego (12-3, 3-0) received another stellar performance from Frohman who killed 14 in 34 attempts while only committing four errors. Lampert and freshmen outside hitter Devon Forster combined to kill 22 balls and Martin gave out 45 assists.

Northridge led game three 12-10, before the Toreros came back with a string of services aces by Forster and freshmen Kristen Hurst who both totaled four in the match. Northridge was led by Laura Walter. Walter killed 11 in 27 attempts and added nine digs, both team-highs.

The Toreros travel to the Northwest this weekend, putting their 3-0 WCC record to the test against WCC opponents Portland and Gonzaga.
