oct. 13 -- Sophomore outside hitter Katie Wilkins totaled a career-high tying 21 kills, five blocks and posted a .333 hitting percentage to lead a balanced offensive attack as No. 15 Pepperdine defeated No. 25 Santa Clara in four games Saturday evening at Firestone Fieldhouse to remain undefeated in West Coast Conference (WCC) play.

The Waves won by scores of 30-16, 30-26, 25-30, 31-29 to improve their overall record to 10-2 and stay atop the WCC standings. The victory was Pepperdine's seventh in a row.

Santa Clara fell to 11-6 on the season and 4-2 in WCC action.

Junior middle blocker Stacy Rouwenhorst (14 kills, 11 digs) and freshman outside hitter Brie Harris (14 kills, 14 digs) each recorded double-doubles. Senior outside hitter Melissa Snow led a solid defensive performance for the Waves as she recorded a match-high 21 digs. Pepperdine totaled a season-high 72 digs in the match.

Freshman middle blocker Toni Muratore posted 18 digs to lead a group of three Santa Clara players who registered double-digit kill totals.
