Oct. 16 -- Sophomore outside hitter April Ross and sophomore middle blocker Katie Olsovsky each recorded double-doubles to lead a group of four players with double-digit kills totals as No. 3 USC registered a four-game victory over No. 14 Pepperdine at the Lyon Center in Los Angeles Tuesday night.

The Women of Troy (13-1), who extended their winning streak to 12 matches, won by scores of 25-30, 30-24, 30-20, 30-18. Pepperdine, which had its seven-match winning streak snapped dropped to 10-3 on the season.

Olsovsky had 14 kills, 11 digs and registered a .636 hitting percentage, while Ross totaled 14 kills and 10 digs. Freshman outside hitter Alicia Robinson contributed 14 kills, while freshman outside hitter Keao Burdine and senior middle blocker Jennifer Pahl recorded 12 and 11 kills, respectively.

Pepperdine had three players record double-doubles as sophomore outside hitter Katie Wilkins (16 kills, 11 digs), freshman outside hitter Brie Harris (15 kills, 11 digs) and junior middle blocker Stacy Rouwenhorst reached double-digit totals in kills and digs.

USC recorded a .319 hitting percentage and limited Pepperdine to just a .194 hitting mark.

In winning the first game, the Waves posted a solid hitting percentage, recording a .450 mark and committing just three attack errors.
