WCC Player of the Week
Kealani Kimball, Loyola Marymount

The senior co-captain led LMU in kills twice, posting 22 against No. 12 SCU and 14 against No. 16 USD. In addition to her 22 kills, Kimball added 18 digs, four blocks, three service aces, and one assist to help the Lions take three straight games from the Broncos. Against No. 16 San Diego, Kimball recorded 12 digs, five blocks, two aces, and one assist to go with her 14 kills in the victory. Kimball's strong blocking efforts in game four against USD were credited with shutting down Torero Kristen Hurst, as Kimball's four blocks held Hurst to just three kills in the final game. The Lions were the only WCC team to face two opponents ranked above them this weekend and came away with a pair of victories at home to earn their 20th and 21st win. In addition, LMU's 12-0 streak in Gersten Pavilion is a new Lion record, beating the previous home streak of 9-0 set in 1998.
