Junior middle blocker Lyndsey Hache' totaled 17 kills to lead a group of four players with double-digit kill totals as No. 9 Pepperdine recorded an impressive three-game sweep over No. 19 UCLA in a non-conference match at Pauley Pavilion in Westwood. The Waves won by scores of 37-35, 30-25, 30-25 to improve to 19-6 overall and extend their season-high winning streak to 10 matches.

The victory snapped a streak of 16 consecutive losses by Pepperdine in Westwood, dating back to 1979 when the Waves defeated the Bruins twice. With the loss, UCLA dropped to 15-11 on the season.

Joining Hache' with double-digit kill totals were freshman outside hitter Breegan Mulligan (14) and junior outside hitter Katie Wilkins and an Stacy Rouwenhorst with 13 each. Hache' and Mulligan led the Waves with .500 hitting percentages, while Rouwenhorst posted a .400 hitting mark and five blocks, and Wilkins recorded a double-double with 10 digs to go along with her 13 kills.

Pepperdine hit an impressive .340 for the match and totaled 11 blocks, while limiting the Bruins to a .256 hitting percentage. Brittany Ringel led UCLA with a match-high 21 kills. Pepperdine is next in action on Friday, November 15, when it hosts Santa Clara in a West Coast Conference (WCC) match at Firestone Fieldhouse beginning at 7 p.m. The Waves can clinch at least a share of the WCC title with wins over the Broncos and San Francisco on Saturday.
