San Diego's Dominique Conners is WCC Player of the Week

SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference has announced its women's basketball Player of the Week award-winner for January 9.

DOMINIQUE CONNERS, SR., G, SAN DIEGO

San Diego senior guard Dominique Conners is the WCC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for January 9. Conners scored 20 points and grabbed five rebounds in a 77-60 win at Saint Mary's, San Diego's only game of the week. Conners also dished out four assists and had two steals. This marked the fifth game this season that Conners has scored 20 or more points and it was also the fourth consecutive game that Conners has scored in double figures. For the season, Conners leads the Toreros with 16.2 points per game.
