WCC Women's Basketball Battle of 2-0 teams in Moraga Thursday night

SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- After the first weekend of West Coast Conference play, Gonzaga and Saint Mary's are both 2-0. BYU is 1-0 after making its 2013 WCC debut on Saturday afternoon.

WCC QUICK HITS

  • Gonzaga and Saint Mary's are both 2-0 to start off conference play. The Bulldogs will visit Moraga on Thursday night at 6 p.m. PST in an early first-place tilt. The Gaels are 29th in the latest NCAA Women's Basketball RPI.

  • Gonzaga senior guard Taelor Karr knocked down eight of nine three-pointers in a 77-57 win over San Diego last Thursday.

  • BYU is off to a 1-0 start in WCC action after an 80-58 win over San Francisco last Saturday. Morgan Bailey and Ashley Garfield paced the Cougars to their seventh straight win with 14 points apiece.
