San Francisco's Mel Khlok is WCC W. Basketball Player of the Month

SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference is pleased to recognize its December Women's Basketball Player of the Month, Mel Khlok from the University of San Francisco.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE MONTH
MEL KHLOK, SENIOR, SAN FRANCISCO

San Francisco senior guard Mel Khlok is the WCC Women's Basketball Player of the Month for December. Khlok averaged 19.1 points per contest and added 4.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 2.7 steals per game last month.

Khlok helped the Dons to a 4-3 record in December. Heading into WCC play, USF had a record above .500 for the first time since 2007-08. Khlok shot 50.6 % from floor, including 42.3 from beyond the arc.

On December 15th in a 92-64 win over San Jose State, Khlok scored a season-high 29 points, shooting nine for 14 from the field. Her nine rebounds in that contest were also a career-high.
