Waves Hit Road for Two Conference Games this Weekend

MALIBU, Calif. - The Pepperdine women's basketball team will take to the road for the first time in West Coast Conference (WCC) play this weekend when it travels to San Diego and San Francisco on Thursday and Saturday, respectively.

Pepperdine (8-9, 1-1 WCC) downed Portland in the conference opener last weekend before falling to Gonzaga in the second game of the weekend.

Senior Jasmane Clarendon had her best game of the season against the Bulldogs as she led the team with 11 points despite the Waves losing the game.

Fans can expect a tight game against San Francisco as the two teams have gone to overtime in two of the last three meetings. The Waves have won the last 13 meetings against San Diego.

The Toreros are 1-0 in league play entering this weekend's action, while the Dons are 0-1.

Tipoff Thursday is scheduled for 7 p.m. PT and 2 p.m. on Saturday.
