WCC Announces Players of the Week

San Bruno, CA - Saint Mary's sophomore Louella Tomlinson averaged a triple-double in two conference wins over San Francisco and Santa Clara with 18.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 11.0 blocks. Against San Francisco, Tomlinson posted a triple-double and a career-high in points with 28 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 blocks. Then, against Santa Clara, she continued with eight points, 11 rebounds, and 11 blocks. Tomlinson now leads the nation with 6.1 blocks per game and is second in the nation with 103 blocks overall.

Shooting 53.3 percent from the field, junior Matt Bouldin averaged 20.0 points, 5.5 assists, and 3.0 rebounds last week, helping Gonzaga capture victories over No. 15 Tennessee on the road and Portland in its first West Coast Conference matchup. Bouldin tied a career-high with 26 points against Tennessee, leading Gonzaga to an 89-79 overtime win that snapped Tennessee's 37-home game winning streak, the second longest in the nation. He then followed that performance with a team-high 14 points and six assists in the Zags' 67-50 win over Portland.
