The First of Three Women's Basketball Telecasts to Air Thursday Night

-SAN BRUNO, CALIF.- The first of three 2010-11 West Coast Conference women's basketball national television broadcasts is set for Thursday, January 13 when Gonzaga University visits Pepperdine University in a rematch of last season's Zappos.com WCC Basketball Championships title game.

The Bulldogs and Waves will be on the air at 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time from Firestone Fieldhouse in Malibu with Rich Cellini and Tammy Blackburn calling the action for CBS College Sports.

Gonzaga will once again appear on CBS College Sports on Thursday, January 27 when the Bulldogs visit Saint Mary's College at 6:00 p.m. (PT)

In addition, the 2011 Zappos.com WCC Women's Basketball Championships title game will be aired live from Las Vegas and the Orleans Arena on Monday, March 7 at 12:00 p.m. (PT) on ESPNU.

West Coast Conference

The West Coast Conference was formed in 1952 and has evolved and grown to become a nationally recognized and competitive force in Division I intercollegiate athletics, with 13 conference-sponsored sports: baseball, men's and women's basketball, women's crew, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's golf, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's tennis and women's volleyball. The WCC is characterized by the stability of its membership - only two conference have been together longer - and its unique emphasis on combining excellence in athletics with excellence in academics. The conference will expand to nine schools for the 2011-12 school year with the addition of Brigham Young University.
