SAN BRUNO, Calif. - The West Coast Conference has named its Women's Basketball Player of the Week for January 12, 2015.
WEST COAST CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - KENDALL KENYON, SR., F - PACIFIC
Senior forward Kendall Kenyon led the Tigers to an overtime win at Saint Mary's to keep Pacific unbeaten in WCC play Saturday by posting a team-high 21 points with 11 rebounds for her third straight double-double. Her 11 rebounds gave her Pacific's all-time rebounding record, topping a mark that had stood for 25 years.
Of her 21 points, 19 came after halftime, including nine points in overtime (on 4-of-5 shooting). Overall for the game, she was 7-of-11 (.636) from the field and 7-for-7 from the free throw line. She also posted a block and three steals.
Her jumper with 19 seconds left in regulation tied the game at 74-74 and forced overtime. She hit six shots in the final 5:19 which either tied the game or gave Pacific the lead.
