Jan. 20, 2010

San Bruno, Calif. - WCC Live will be back on the air tonight at 8:00 pm to recap the previous week of conference play as all eight schools continue the road to Las Vegas.

Fans can participate to ask the guests questions by calling the listener line at 646-378-1311 or emailing questions to wcclive@ymail.com, which can also be done ahead of time. To listen to the show live, just go to www.blogtalkradio.com/wccsports. Fans can also listen to any previous episode from the Podcentral tab on WCCSports.com or at www.wccsports.com/wcclive.

Headlining this week's episode will be former Torero and current Comcast SportsNet analyst Eric Musselman. We will also be joined by Saint Mary's Men's Head Coach Randy Bennett, Gonzaga senior center Robert Sacre, and Pepperdine Women's Head Coach Julie Rousseau.

Musselman is no stranger to the WCC as he played for San Diego, when the team went 24-6, the best record in school history. He has coached at all levels including the NBA with the Warriors and Kings and now works as a color commentator for Comcast SportsNet, covering many WCC men's games. He will stop by to give his take on the season so far.

Coach Bennett's Gaels split their games last week losing a close one to Gonzaga before defeating Portland. Saint Mary's is 3-1 in conference play and sits in third place. Coach Bennett will give us his take on the upcoming matchup with San Diego this week.

Sacre and the Zags are currently 3-0 in the conference and are tied for first place with Pepperdine. Gonzaga will play the Waves for sole possession of first place this week and Sacre will stop by to preview the crucial matchup.

Coach Rousseau's Waves sit at 3-0 in the conference, tied for first place with Gonzaga. As is the case for the men, the women will also play for sole possession of first place, as they host the Zags this Thursday.
