Gonzaga's Katelan Redmon is WCC Player of the Week

SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference has announced its women's basketball Player of the Week award-winner for January 23.

KATELAN REDMON, SR., G/F, GONZAGA

Gonzaga senior guard/forward Katelan Redmon is the WCC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for January 23. Redmon averaged 22 points, six rebounds and 1.5 steals as the Bulldogs went 2-0 on the road last week.

Redmon poured in a career-high 32 points in an 81-68 win at Santa Clara last Thursday. She hit 14-of-21 from the field and 4-of-7 at the charity stripe. Redmon closed out the weekend by scoring a team-high 12 points along with seven rebounds, two steals, one block and one assist in the Bulldogs 54-44 victory at San Diego.
