Location: Spokane, Wash. - McCarthey Athletic Center

Preview: Thursday night's matchup pits first-place Gonzaga against sixth-place Pepperdine. The Bulldogs are coming off of a successful 2-0 week in which they separated themselves from the pack, handing San Diego its first WCC loss of the season. The Waves are looking to build off of the return of junior guard Daphanie Kennedy to the lineup. Kennedy returned to the court last week after missing seven games due to injury, posting 25 points and 10 rebounds in a loss to Santa Clara and a win over Saint Mary's. Kennedy was sorely missed, as Pepperdine managed just a 1-6 record without her. The Zags have compiled a perfect conference record so far, and are looking to continue their eight game winning streak on Thursday. Although Pepperdine holds a 27-16 advantage in the all-time series, Gonzaga has won six of the last eight meetings, including a 55-38 win last year at the McCarthey Center.
