SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference is pleased to recognize its January Women's Basketball Player of the Month, Taelor Karr from Gonzaga University.

TAELOR KARR, SENIOR, GONZAGA
Gonzaga senior guard Taelor Karr is the WCC Women's Basketball Player of the Month for January. Karr averaged 15.4 points, 4.3 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 2.1 steals per game and shot 52.4 percent from the field, including 53.2 percent from beyond the arc.
In the month of January, Karr led the Zags to a 7-1 record as GU continues to lead the WCC by a full game over BYU and Saint Mary's.
Karr registered double-figures in all eight games last month, had at least four assists in all but one game, and had three games with three or more steals.
Her best outing came against San Diego on January 3rd when she scored 27 points and a hit a career-high eight three-pointers, one shy of the Gonzaga record. Karr had one other 20-plus point performance in January when she shot seven of ten from the field, including four for six from three-point land for a game-high 20 points at Portland on January 14th.
