BYU senior Kristen Riley is WCC January Player of the Month

SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- As announced on this week's "The Road to Las Vegas," the West Coast Conference is pleased to recognize its January Women's Basketball Player of the Month, Kristen Riley from BYU.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE MONTH
KRISTEN RILEY, SENIOR CENTER

BYU senior center Kristen Riley is the WCC Women's Basketball Player of the Month for January. Riley averaged 14.8 points per game, 8.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.6 blocks per game in January.

Riley also picked up three double-doubles during the month while putting up double digits in points in six games and grabbing double digits on the glass in four. The Cougars won nine consecutive games in January, their second winning streak of nine or more games this season. In conference play, Riley is sixth in the WCC with 14.9 points per game, second with 8.6 rebounds per contest and a .589 field goal percentage.
