Showdown in Spokane Thursday night when Saint Mary's visits Gonzaga

SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- With three weeks left in the regular season, Gonzaga sits atop the West Coast Conference standings with a 10-1 record. Saint Mary's is right behind at 8-2 and the Gaels visit Spokane on Thursday in a contest set to tip off at 6 p.m. PST.

WCC QUICK HITS

  • Gonzaga is 10-1 and has a game and a half lead over Saint Mary's in the West Coast Conference standings. The Gaels visit Spokane on Thursday night at 6 p.m. PST.

  • Four WCC teams are currently in the NCAA RPI Top 100: (34) Saint Mary's, (50) Gonzaga, (64) BYU and (86) San Diego.

  • BYU point guard is second in the country with 7.7 assists per game. She is also third with a 2.71 assist to turnover ratio. Gonzaga guard Jazmine Redmon ranks 17th in the NCAA with a 2.33 assist to turnover ratio.

  • The February 21st matchup between Gonzaga and Santa Clara will be televised nationally on NBC Sports Network at 6 p.m. PST
