The Pepperdine Waves will bring the 2006-07 regular season to an end this week as it travels to Saint Mary's and Santa Clara. Thursday's game against the Gaels is scheduled for a 7 p.m. PT tip in Moraga, Calif., while Saturday's game against the Broncos is slated for a 2 p.m. start.

Pepperdine (12-15) is tied with Santa Clara for fifth in the league standing with a 5-7 league record, two games back of Saint Mary's and Loyola Marymount. A pair of victories this week could move the Waves as high as the No. 4 seed for next weekend's West Coast Conference Tournament.

It was from the fourth seed that Pepperdine made its way through the conference tournament to earn the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Championship tournament a year ago.
