SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- Heading into the final week of the regular season, eight out of the nine seeds in the WCC remain up for grabs. BYU travels to Spokane to face Gonzaga in what could decide the No. 1 seed.

  • Heading into the final week of the regular season, only one seed out of nine has been decided. Pepperdine will be the No. 5 seed at the 2012 Zappos.com WCC Basketball Championships in Las Vegas beginning February 29. BYU travels to Spokane on Saturday at 2 p.m. PT in a contest that will determine the order of the one and two seeds. Seeds three and four will be decided between Saint Mary's and San Diego, and the final four seeds are still up in the air heading into the week.

  • Gonzaga is ranked No. 25 in this week's Associated Press Top 25 and BYU is receiving votes. The Bulldogs are also ranked No. 21 in this week's ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll.

  • Should there be a tie in the final regular season standings, the following will be used to break the tie for tournament seeding purposes: 1) head-to-head results, 2) results vs. other teams in descending order of finish, 3) RPI (Collegiate Basketball News RPI). In the case of multiple ties, the one which can be resolved via the earliest tie-breaking step is broken first, with the review beginning on the lower tie.
