Gonzaga's Katelan Redmon is WCC Player of the Week

SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference has announced its women's basketball Player of the Week award-winner for February 27.

KATELAN REDMON, SR., G/F, Gonzaga

Gonzaga senior guard/forward Katelan Redmon is the WCC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for February 27. Redmon scored a game-high 28 points and grabbed seven rebounds to help guide the Bulldogs to a 77-60 win over BYU last Saturday. The victory clinched the WCC title outright for the Zags.

In the Bulldogs' only game last week, Redmon shot 60 percent from the field and scored 16 second half points. The Zags have now won eight consecutive WCC regular season titles dating back to the 2004-2005 season.
