SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The University of San Diego women's basketball team held it's annual Father/Daughter camp in the summer of 2007, and below is a link to a photo gallery of what took place at this camp.
This camp was a great opportunity for fathers and daughters to spend a day together on the court. Fathers got a chance to learn how to teach their daughtesr the fundamentals of the game with drills and motivational games. Several mothers were also in attendance and participating.
These daughters got a chance to sharpen their guard skills with individual instruction from the USD coaching staff. This six hour session was packed with drills to improve their ball handling and shooting skills.
Other players got a chance to enhance their post game with individual instruction from the USD coaching staff. This six hour session was filled with drills to improve both offensive and defensive post game.
There was also a K-12 day camp that puts the fun in fundamentals! This camp offered individual instruction, station work, contests, team games and various breakdown drills.
