The Loyola Marymount women's basketball team enjoys its reputation as one of the top defensive squads in the West Coast Conference.
This season, though, the Lions would like to be seen as a team that can be just as aggressive and respected on offense.
"We've put in a new offense this year that will complement some of the other things we do," Coach Julie Wilhoit said. "This will be an offense that will look to improve our scoring and bring a punch that's very similar to our defensive punch.
"We've always been seen as a high-flying defensive team. We believe that we have the type of athletes who can execute this style of offense."
