Women's Basketball Will Televise 10 Home Games

SPOKANE, Wash. - The Gonzaga University women's basketball team will have 10 home games televised this season. The Bulldogs will have nine broadcasted locally and one nationally. The Zags will appear nationally on ESPNU and locally on KAYU, KHQ and GU TV this season.

The Zags will host Pepperdine University Jan 10 at 8 p.m. on ESPNU, the third appearance the past two seasons for the Bulldogs on the ESPN family.

Three Gonzaga games will be featured on KAYU this season. GU will host Big 10 Conference member Purdue University Dec. 19 at 5 p.m., the University of Portland Jan. 26 at 2 p.m. and the University of San Diego Feb. 16 at 2 p.m. - all being televised on the Fox affiliate KAYU. The match-up against the Purdue Boilermakers was schedule for a 7 p.m. tip, but has been switched to the 5 p.m. start due to the television broadcast.

The Bulldogs cross-town rivalry with Eastern Washington University on Dec. 29 will be televised on KHQ at 5 p.m.

The final four TV contests will be broadcasted by GU TV, starting with this Saturday's game against the University of Nevada at noon. The final three GU TV games are against West Coast Conference opponents. GU will host Saint Mary's College on Jan. 31 at 7 p.m., Santa Clara University on Feb. 2 at 2 p.m. and the University of San Francisco on Feb. 14 at 7 p.m.
