(San Francisco) - Monday, November 20 marks the 2006-07 regular season debut of the Tanya Haave show in what will be a regular feature on the USFDons website. Each Monday at 9:30 AM (PT) throughout the season, veteran USF Dons play-by-play man George Devine will sit down with the first-year head coach of the Dons to discuss the team, players and a scouting report on upcoming opponents.
This week Haave, a Tennessee Lady Vols Hall-of-Famer, will preview the 2006 odwalla Classic in what figures to be the most talented field in the event's four-year history. No. 21 Kentucky, a 2006 NCAA Tournament qualifier, returns for its second appearance, while Delaware, which earned a 2006 WNIT Postseason berth, and Southern Illinois round out the field of the popular event.
Last season No. 22 Oklahoma captured the odwalla Classic title with a narrow 53-51 victory against the Dons, who posted their second straight runner-up showing. San Francisco won the inaugural event in 2003 with a 67-59 victory against the Wildcats.
