San Diego's Sophia Ederaine Named WCC Women's Basketball Player of the Week

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference has named its Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for November 24, 2014.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – SOPHIA EDERAINE, SR., F – SAN DIEGO
Senior forward Sophia Ederaine helped lead USD to a 2-0 record this past week, to keep San Diego perfect on the season. Ederaine averaged a double-double week with a 13.0 ppg average and a 11.5 rpg per game average to go along with 5.0 blocks per game.

Ederaine began the week with her first double-double of the season, a 13-point and 10-rebound performance, while also recording four blocks against Cal State Fullerton. She then followed that up with a 13-point, 13-rebound performance in the road win at Idaho, to go along with six blocks.
