  • Santa Clara has won four games in a row and is off to a 5-1 start, its best since the 2001-02 season. The Broncos knocked down 14 three-pointers on Monday night in an 81-78 win over UC Davis.

  • Gonzaga is 3-1 and ranked 24th in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll. The Bulldogs lead the nation in assists (22 per game) and assist to turnover ratio (1.76).

  • Pepperdine won the New Mexico Thanksgiving Tournament title last week with a 58-47 win over Idaho on Friday and 59-56 overtime victory over host-New Mexico. Senior Lauren Bell averaged 12 points, 6.5 steals and four assists in the tournament.

  • San Diego broke the 100-point barrier for the third time inprogram history with a 103-44 win over Louisiana-Lafayette last Friday at the Jenny Craig Pavilion. Senior guard Izzy Chilcott recorded a career-high 20 points for the Toreros.

  • BYU is on a three-game winning streak after a 77-59 win over Wisconsin last Wednesday and a 77-58 victory over Eastern Washington on Saturday. The Cougars lead the West CoastConference in scoring defense, allowing 60.8 points per game through six contests.
