San Diego junior guard Amy Kame is WCC Player of the Week

SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference has named its Women's Basketball Player of the Week for December 3, 2012.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
AMY KAME, JR., G, SAN DIEGO

San Diego junior guard Amy Kame is the WCC Women's Basketball Player of the Week. Kame averaged 17.5 points, nine rebounds, eight steals, and seven assists last week as the Toreros went 2-0 at the Air Force Academy Tournament.

Kame began the week with 18 points, a career-high nine steals, eight rebounds, and seven assists in a 77-70 win over Boise State in Colorado Springs, Colo.

She followed that up with 17 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists and seven steals in a 74-43 win over tournament-host Air Force. Kame was named the Air Force Tournament MVP for her efforts.
