BYU's Kim Parker is WCC Player of the Week

SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference has announced its women's basketball Player of the Week award-winner for December 5.

KIM PARKER, SO., G, BYU

BYU sophomore guard Kim Parker is the WCC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for December 5. Parker averaged 21.3 points, five assists and 4.7 rebounds per game as the Cougars went 3-0 last week at the Hukilau Invitational in Laie, Hawaii.

In the first game of the week against BYU-Hawaii, Parker put up 17 points, grabbed five rebounds, dished out three assists and had four steals.

Against Pac-12 opponent Arizona, Parker picked up a season and career high 25 points to lead all scorers for her third straight double digit outing, the fifth this season and her 10th overall.

In the final game of the Hukilau Invitational vs. Syracuse, Parker led the team with 22 points. She also grabbed five rebounds and dished out six assists.
