Portland sophomore Kari Luttinen is WCC Player of the Week

SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- Portland sophomore guard Kari Luttinen is the WCC Women's Basketball Player of the Week. Luttinen averaed 17.5 points per game and 3.5 rebounds as the Pilots ran their winning streak to three games.

Luttinen scored a game-high 18 points, including four of seven form beyond the arc, as Portland topped Fresno State 76-69, ending FSU's four-game winning streak. She also had three steals against the Bulldogs.

Luttinen followed that up with 17 points on six of 11 shooting in a 73-49 win at Boise State. She was also a perfect three for three from the charity stripe and made two of three three-pointers.

For the week, Luttinen averaged 17.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and two steals, increasing the Pilots' winning streak to three games.
