LOS ANGELES, CA - Junior Jennifer Hall has been named the WCC Player of the Week, the conference announced today. The forward averaged 12.5 points and 8.5 rebounds to lead the Lions against Northern Arizona and Fresno State. She scored 14 points with nine rebounds against the Lumberjacks, and helped LMU to the road win with 11 points and eight rebounds against Fresno State.
Hall was 3-for-4 from the free throw line in the final 45 seconds of the game to help LMU hold off the Bulldogs and snap FSU's 16-game home winning streak. Fresno State has not lost at home in over a year, and it was just the second home loss in nearly 23 months.
It is the first career WCC honor for the transfer from Vanderbilt who leads the team in scoring and rebounding with 13.4 points and 7.7 rebounds per game.
LMU returns to action on December 29th at the Cyclone Challenge. The Lions will face Colgate in the first game, and take on the host Cyclones on December 30th.
