WEST COAST CONFERENCE BASKETBALL QUICK HITS

  • Through December 30, WCC teams own a 57.5% winning percentage vs. non-conference foes. See page 2 for more.
  • Pacific’s Kendall Kenyon is the West Coast Conference Player of the Week.  RELEASE
  • The West Coast Conference leads all of Division I in conference free throw percentage (71.38).*
  • BYU’s Lexi Eaton ranks 43rd among active NCAA Division I leaders in career scoring (1,299) and 29th in career free throws (318).
  • Pacific’s Kendall Kenyon ranks sixth among active NCAA Division I leaders in career rebounds (927), 15th in rebound average (8.8) and 12th in career double-doubles (39).
  • San Diego’s Sophia Ederaine ranks fifth among active NCAA Division I career leaders in blocked shots (239) and is 18th in blocked shots average (2.17).
  • San Diego’s Malina Hood is fourth overall among Division I leaders in 3 point field goals per game (3.6).
  • San Diego ranks seventh in all of Division I in offensive rebounds (19.0) and blocked shots (6.4).
  • Saint Mary’s ranks 24th in Division 1 rebound margin (9.5).
  • Gonzaga ranks fourth nationally in free throw percentage (77.7).
  • For the second time in three years, two WCC teams - Gonzaga and BYU - competed in the NCAA Tournament.
  • BYU marched to the 2014 NCAA Sweet-16 before bowing to eventual National Champion UConn.
  • Three WCC teams - Pacific, Saint Mary’s and San Diego competed in the 2014 WNIT Postseason Tournament.
